Biography
Dr. Claudia C. Hays joined Luminis Health OB-GYN – Annapolis in August 1996. Born in Annapolis and raised in Bowie, Dr. Hays graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and did her residency at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Hays particularly enjoys preventative medicine, family planning, adolescent issues and working with menopausal and postmenopausal patients. Dr. Hays is trained to do the MonaLisa Touch laser in-office procedure for vaginal rejuvenation. Dr. Hays has volunteered her time with multiple medical missions. She spent a full year in 2013/2014 working and teaching in Rwanda, Africa. There she taught the Rwandan doctors and medical students obstetrics and gynecology within their local hospital. She has also done medical mission work in the Philippines and Guatemala. Locally, she has spent many years volunteering her services at the Annapolis Outreach Clinic. Dr. Hays is very active in First Presbyterian Church of Annapolis. She has outside interests in music and physical fitness. She has been a member of the Chesapeake Flute consort which has performed locally as well as New York City, Belgium, and France. She enjoys swimming, biking, and running; and frequently will participate in a triathlon. She also enjoys hiking and paddle-boarding.
