Biography
Dr. Cooper joined Annapolis OB-GYN in February 2019. Born in Washington D.C. and raised in Mitchellville, MD she left home to attend Duke University in Durham, NC for her undergraduate studies and then went on to get a Master of Biological Science at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. She then returned home to attend residency at Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University for her training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
She enjoys caring for women throughout their entire pregnancy and beyond for continued gynecologic care. She believes in patient education and involving the patient in shared decision making about their care. Her medical interests include obstetrics, gynecologic surgery, uterine fibroids, preventative care, family planning, and infertility care. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
In her free time Dr. Cooper enjoys spending time with her husband traveling, baking, gardening and when time allows scuba diving.
