Biography
Tara Pomponio joined our practice in May 2011. Prior to beginning her studies to become a physician assistant, Tara worked as a clinical research assistant at Johns Hopkins Medical Institution Center on Aging and Health, in Baltimore, Maryland. She moved back to Philadelphia where she was employed as a clinical research coordinator for the University of Pennsylvania Cancer Center, Rena Rowan Breast Center, implementing and coordinating all phases of clinical research protocols, and supervising staff in clinic and laboratory settings. She left Philadelphia for a cross-country transfer to California where she gained experience as a physician assistant in a primary care setting, cosmetic surgery, and an Ob/Gyn practice in Newport Beach, CA. We are happy to have her join our practice, as Tara brings a wide range of experience and knowledge in women’s healthcare.
